Recurring Appointments

Recurring appointments save time by automatically creating appointments on a repeating schedule. Perfect for regular clients, weekly meetings, or any appointment that happens repeatedly.

Creating a Recurring Appointment
Step 1: Create Base Appointment

Start by creating a regular appointment with all the details (client, employee, service, time, etc.) as you normally would.

Step 2: Enable Recurrence

In the appointment form, find the "Recurring" or "Repeat" option and toggle it on.

Step 3: Set Recurrence Pattern

Choose how often the appointment repeats:

  • Daily: Every day or every N days
  • Weekly: On specific days of the week (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • Monthly: On the same day each month or specific week of the month
  • Yearly: On the same date each year
Step 4: Set End Date

Specify when the recurrence should stop. Options include:

  • No end date (continues indefinitely)
  • End after N occurrences
  • End on a specific date
Managing Recurring Appointments

Edit individual occurrences: You can modify a single instance of a recurring appointment without affecting the series.

Edit the series: Changes to the series affect all future occurrences, not past ones.

Delete occurrences: You can delete a single occurrence or the entire series.

Best Practices
  • Review recurring appointments periodically to ensure they're still valid
  • Set appropriate end dates to avoid creating unnecessary future appointments
  • Use weekly patterns for consistent schedules
  • Cancel or modify series when clients or employees are no longer available
