Timezone Configuration

Correct timezone settings ensure appointments, schedules, and time entries display correctly for your location. Configure timezones to match your business operations.

Setting Company Timezone
Step 1: Access Settings

Navigate to "Settings" → "Company Settings" to access timezone configuration.

Step 2: Select Timezone

Choose your company's primary timezone from the dropdown list. This becomes the default for all operations.

Step 3: Save Settings

Save the timezone setting. This affects how dates and times are displayed and stored.

User Timezone Preferences

Individual users can set their own timezone preferences:

  1. Go to your user profile or account settings
  2. Find timezone preference option
  3. Select your local timezone
  4. Save preferences

This allows users in different locations to see times in their local timezone while the system maintains company timezone for consistency.

Why Timezone Settings Matter

Proper timezone configuration ensures:

  • Appointments display at correct local times
  • Time entries are recorded accurately
  • Schedules align with business hours
  • Reports show correct time ranges
  • Multi-location operations work correctly
Handling Daylight Saving Time

The system automatically handles daylight saving time (DST) transitions based on your selected timezone. No manual adjustment is needed when clocks change.

Best Practices
  • Set company timezone to match your primary business location
  • Ensure all users set their personal timezone preferences
  • Be aware of timezone differences when scheduling across locations
  • Review timezone settings when expanding to new areas
